Terms and Conditions

 

1. Introduction

1.1 The terms on this page apply to all business conducted through the website (Flo-Fly.com) and in relation to Flo-Fly General Partnership. By signing up as a drone pilot and acknowledging these terms and conditions you agree to adhere by the policies outlined on this page.

1.2 “Flo-Fly”, “Us”, “We”, “Our” refers to the company, Flo-Fly.

      “You”, “Your” refers to the person registering as a drone pilot on this website (Flo-Fly.com).

      “Client” refers to the person who is paying you for your time and skills.

      “Service” refers to aerial photography and/or videography performed in exchange for currency.

      “Website” refers to the domain Flo-Fly.com

 

2. Payment Terms

2.1 You agree to forfeit 15% commission from services performed through Flo-Fly. We reserve the right to alter this commission at any point prior to you accepting a client. If this is the case we will notify you of this change either through the email we have on record or through the website before you accept the client. It is your responsibility to check the commission rate prior to accepting the client and once you do so the commission percentage is locked in.

2.2 All payments must be completed through the site, to do otherwise will result in a ban from the site and the deletion of your account.

 

3. Certification

3.1 You must have a valid and in date Part 107 license.

 

4. Liability

 

5. Completion of Services

5.1 You must complete the minimum level of service that is promised in your profile and is communicated through the site to the client. Failure to do so may at our discretion result in the withholding of part or all of your payment.

 

6. Cancellation

6.1 In the case of cancellation by the client 48 hours or more in advance of the scheduled service you are not required to complete the service and you will not receive payment regardless of if the service is completed. You will be notified by email at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service that the customer has cancelled and it is your responsibility to check if this is the case or not.

6.2 In the case of cancellation by the client less than 48 hours in advance of the scheduled service you are not required to complete the service but will still receive payment regardless of if the service is completed. You will be notified by email of this cancellation to the best of our ability.

6.3 If you cancel 48 hours or more in advance through the website there is no penalty and the client will be alerted of the cancellation by email, you may enter a reason for cancellation and this will be communicated to the client. You do not receive any payment in this case.

6.4 If you cancel 48 hours or less in advance then you will receive a strike on your account. You do not receive any payment in this case.

 

7. Requirements to become a pilot

7.1 You must meet all the requirements needed to receive a part 107 license.

7.2 If you have been banned from the website (Flo-Fly.com) in the past then you must not reapply to the site unless you have direct permission to do so from us.

 

8. Accordance with FAA regulations

8.1 It is your responsibility to act in accordance with all local and national regulations that pertain to the service in your area.

 

9. Obstructions of Service

9.1 Weather or other acts of god

9.2 If the client does not show up

9.3 If you do not show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled time and fail to notify the client it will be considered a no call no show and you will receive two strikes on your account.

 

10. Portfolio Uploads

10.1 The videos and pictures on your portfolio must be recorded or taken by you with a drone, the model of drone should be specified.

10.2 The videos and pictures on your portfolio must have been taken in accordance with applicable local and FAA regulations.

10.3 Using someone else’s photos and videos in your profile or posting other misleading information in your portfolio could result in penalties up to and including a website ban and the deletion of your account.

 

11. Account Strikes

11.1 Account strikes are given at our sole discretion and you may or may not be notified of these strikes.

11.2 After receiving three strikes you will be banned from the website and your account will be deleted.

11.3 You have the ability to appeal strikes by contacting Flo-Fly through the email Help@Flo-Fly.com.

11.4 Unless appealed, these strikes never go away and after three strikes your account will be deleted and you will be banned from the website.
